Counseling Services

Nobody’s life is perfect. Life is full of ups, downs, challenging circumstances, relational pain, transitional seasons. How we respond during these times has a direct impact on our futures. Most of the time when we experience challenging situations, we can lean on friends, family members, or the people in our Life Groups. Sometimes, however, problems become more complex and we need the guidance of professionals. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, going through a life transition, or are struggling in a relationship, we want to help connect you with competent Christian counselors. 

 

Foundations Christian Counseling will offer counseling one day a week at The Waymart Church facility. They will be walking side-by side with individuals, couples, and families through Christ-Centered counseling, resources, and instruction.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN RECEIVING COUNSELING, PLEASE COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING STEPS:

 

1. Print, complete, and return the following forms to The Waymart Church Office:

  1. Release of Information – Billing

  2. Pastoral Release

 

2. Within one week of your forms being received you will be contacted by The Waymart Church office staff with approval to move to step #3. (Some requests for counseling may be denied or delayed)

 

3. Contact Foundations Christian Counseling directly to schedule a session.

 

  1. Go to foundchristcounsel.org

  2. Choose Schedule A Session in the top menu bar

  3. Complete the online form (Allow one week for response)

  4. If you do not have the ability to schedule a session online, you may call 877-414-4673 to schedule an appointment (Allow one week for response)

4. Christian Counseling is only one part of the process – Each recipient must attend

The Waymart Church Sunday services on a regular basis.

 

5. It is through the generosity of The Waymart Church Family that these counseling sessions

have been made available at a reduced rate. If you find that your financial situation allows,

now or in the future, please consider donating to Counseling Fund to assist others in need.

Counseling sessions are $85.00 each, The Waymart Church has already prepaid Foundations Christian Counseling the first $45.00 of the session cost, so the session will cost you only $40.00.
